Listen now | A deep dive into AI tools, prototyping innovation, and the evolving roles of designers, engineers, and product managers in a rapidly shifting landscape.
Describing a series of prompts efficiently so that LLMs/foundational models quickly grasp what they need to do is going to so important, and PMs need hands-on practice, so they can evaluate and develop taste with these models outputs and what strategies accelerate product development processes. Don't wait for these coding tools to have some magical equilibrium years from now or whenever consolidation might happen. Even if it's Replit now and something else by end of year, PMs need to start using it. I don't think $20 is prohibitive for anyone over a couple of months if you're a Product Manager in Tech.
Also, the business model for someone like Replit is them continuously evaluating their models and code output, such that their apps could eventually be used in production, just like Fortune 500 companies use Squarespace or Shopify for their website. I thought you guys were circling for an answer there, but I didn't hear it brought up.
